Consumers are looking for transparency and now have access to data they did not historically have. By partnering with an objective third-party valuation source like BOATVALUE®, you are taking the friction out of the “trade-in” or “purchase-price” conversation. Allowing your people to become “the good guys” by giving the consumer the price they are looking for. Throughout the valuation process, we inform consumers that these values are estimates only and you need to bring your vehicle in to get a firm offer. Even if you can’t offer the consumer the book value when you see the vehicle, we prepare them ahead of time that there are many factors that influence the values.
